Continental UK, the tyre manufacturer, launched a new activation as part of its partnership with Euro 2016 on 20/04/2016, announced the UK subsidiary of the German brand on 15/04/2016. The campaign, entitled "Designated Drivers" (as in those who do not consume alcohol so as to be legally able to drive), will be adapted to television, radio and digital adverts and is intended to highlight "the role filled by driving parents, friends or coaches that ferry 450,000 fans to football matches every week", said the British agency The Moment, who are in charge of this operation.

This activation also allows fans to win tickets to the final of Euro 2016. To do this each user must send their "designated driver" personalised video with the hashtag #DesignatedDrivers, which will automatically put them in the running for two VIP seats. Fans will also have the opportunity to win via British radio TalkSport as they can call in to thank their drivers and enable them to be part of a special prize draw.
