Matchday 35 of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season drew an average of 19,195 spectators per match from 22 to 24/04/2016. The average attendance of the Franch championship is 20,655 spectators per match on the season, down 8% compared to the 2014-15 season. The Ligue 1 stadium fill rate is currently 67% in 2015-16.

AS Saint-Etienne - FC Lorient (2-0) drew the largest crowd of the matchday, with 29,550 spectators at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, according to official figures of the LFP. Four games of the eight were played in front of over 20,000 people. The Olympique de Marseille - FC Nantes match (1-1, 19,898 spectators) drew a much lower than normal figure due to the closure of the curve sections at the Stade Velodrome, a decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the LFP last week.

Two matches of Matchday 35, LOSC Lille - Angers SCO and FC Girondins de Bordeaux - Paris Saint-Germain were postponed due to the participation of Lille and PSG in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue (2-1 victory for PSG) at the Stade de France (68,640 spectators) on 23/04/2016.
