MP & Silva acquire Scottish Premier League's overseas TV rights from 2014/15

The SPL (Scottish Premier League) has agreed a nine-year deal that will see the MP & Silva agency market its overseas broadcasting rights from the 2014/15 season (to the 2022/23 season).

The international deal excludes the European Union territories and covers all of the SPL’s live televised matches each season. MP & Silva will be the exclusive distributor of the SPL's live media rights across cable, satellite, terrestrial, betting, mobile and internet platforms, apart from those retained by club channels.

Marketing rights agency Sportfive own the SPL's overseas television rights until the end of the 2013-14 season.
