Inter Milan: "We're looking for a strategic partner, I'm not selling majority stake" (Erick Thohir)

"I want to focus on Inter and thank the fans who have backed us from day one. We're looking for a strategic partner, I'm not selling majority stake," said Erick Thohir, president of FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM), on 24/04/2016.

The Indonesian businessman has president of the club since 15/11/2013 and officially became the majority shareholder with a 70% stake in June 2014. Several Italian media outlets have reported, since the beginning of 2016, a possible willingness of Erick Thohir to bring in new investors, and to eventually disengage from Inter Milan in the medium to long term. Italian media have raised the possibility of the Indonesian being interested in acquiring an English club, with West Bromwich Albion FC (Premier League) and Fulham FC (Championship) being cited as potential targets.

"I have said many times that I have no intentions of buying a club in England. I want to concentrate on Italy, Serie A and Inter - that's it. I don't understand why people are saying that I want to leave because we have worked very hard in recent years," stated Erick Thohir.
