The Swiss Football League has launched a tender procedure for the acquisition of the broadcasting rights (national and international) to the Swiss Championship's first and second divisions -- the Raiffeisen Super League (RSL) and Brack.ch Challenge League, respectively -- from the 2017/18 season, on 25/04/2016. Regarding the duration of contracts, the SFL wishes for a period of at least four years.

SFL requests interested media to respond to this tender in two options for the RSL:
• Alternative A provides for the same (existing) single time slot for the two games scheduled on Saturday and the existing two time slots for the three games on Sunday.
• Alternative B provides for two different time slots on Saturday and also two different time slots on Sunday.

The Challenge League is treated in a similar manner. Once the bids are received, the SFL will decide which of the match time schedule variants, A or B, will be used from the 2017-18 season. All interested broadcasters must submit their bids before 20/05/2016.
