The Italian professional league which manages the second division Serie B has signed a partnership with the "fanfunding" platform Tifosy, through which the 22 clubs in the Serie B will be able to finance development projects (stadium improvement, football schools, training facilities, and more) through participatory financing operations which invite supporters to participate, announced the Lega Nazionale Professionisti B, in Milan (ITA) on 21/04/2016.

"Finding funds is not always easy, but the clubs have thousands of tifosi (registered supporters) who would love to give a hand to improve the situation of their favorite team. The Tifosy platform provides an opportunity for all to invest and seamlessly support decisive projects with their own club," said the Italian League, which will play the role of partner and facilitator between Tifosy and the clubs.

Supporters are encouraged to make donations to their favorite club, to choose the corresponding amount and which specific project, and then post their actions and reactions on social networks.
