Hong Kong: Now TV acquires non-exclusive broadcast rights to Euro 2016

The Hong Kong pay-TV group Now TV has acquired the non-exclusive TV rights, for pay-TV in Hong Kong, to Euro 2016, on 27/04/2016. Now TV will broadcast all 51 matches live and in HD. The Qatari pay-TV group beIN Sports also owns the broadcast rights for TV, internet and mobile to Euro 2016 in Hong Kong, acquired on 26/11/2013.

Now TV is expected to market a package including Euro 2016 and the Copa America Centenario -- whose rights were acquired on 29/05/2015 -- for about €79 for its non-subscribers according to the Hong Kong media on 27/04/2016. Current subscribers will receive rebates or other specific offers not yet communicated.
