Euro 2016: Carrefour, partner of the FFF, sponsors the "Song of the Supporters of Les Bleus"

The French rock band Skip The Use has recorded the official song for the supporters of the French national team -- a cover of the song "I was made for loving you baby" by the rock group Kiss, and renamed "I was made for lovin' you, my team" -- and whose video was released by the French daily Le Parisien, on 27/04/2016.

The video shows the French internationals Christophe Jallet, Steve Mandanda, Paul Pogba, Yohan Cabaye and N'Golo Kanté, as well as the logo of the French distribution group Carrefour (supermarkets), an official partner of the FFF. However, this is not the official song of the French national football team for Euro 2016.

"This a marketing operation of Carrefour, who wanted to make a song for French supporters with Skip The Use. The Federation supports this, obviously, because Carrefour is one of its partners, but it (the French Federation) is not actively involved in the project. There is no official anthem or song for the FFF, and this is not the official anthem for Euro 2016," Explained the FFF to the French daily Le Monde on 28/04/2016.
