FC Internazionale Milano: €170.1m turnover in 2014-15, up 3.6% thanks to sponsorship

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) posted €170.13m in turnover during the 2014-15 fiscal year, up 3.6% from 2013-14 (€164.13m) according to the consolidated results of the company FC Internazionale Milano SpA, and which News Tank could consult on 29/04/2016.

The turnover of the Italian club has declined by €51.8m in the space of five years (€221.95m in 2010-11), or an average annual growth rate of -5.2% over the period. This corresponds to the sporting results of Inter over the period, as in 2009-10 the club achieved in the Champions League, Scudetto, Coppa Italia triple, as well as being the vice-champion of Italy in 2010-11. The club finished sixth in the Serie A in 2011-12, and 9th, 5th and 8th in 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15, respectively. These finishes, and the lack of Champions League qualification, correspond to the decline of the club's audiovisual revenues (-€46.7m from five years ago) and ticketing (-€11m over the same period).
