UEFA: agenda of the Congress in Budapest (HUN) on 03/05/2016

The application for formal affiliation of the Kosovo Football Federation to UEFA and the election of a woman as a member of the UEFA Executive Committee are two of the main items on the agenda of the 40^th Ordinary Congress of UEFA on Tuesday 03/05/2016 at the HungExpo in Budapest (Hungary), which will include representatives from all 54 affiliated national federations of the European football body. This agenda was approved by the UEFA Executive Committee on 03/04/2016.

The Kosovo Federation will become the 55^th member federation of UEFA if its application is accepted. In this case, FIFA will, in turn, also vote on Kosovo's admission as the 210^th member federation of the international body at the FIFA Congress on 12 and 13/05/2016 in Mexico City (Mexico).

Regarding the first election by the UEFA Congress of a female member of the Executive Committee (under the new statutes passed by the Extraordinary UEFA Congress on 25/02/2016 in Zurich, SUI), there are two declared candidates as of the deadline on 19/04/2016:
