UEFA: Executive Committee "expressed its confidence" for Euro 2016 to be "safe and festive for all"

"The UEFA Executive Committee received a positive update on the successful preparations for Euro 2016 and expressed its confidence in the measures put in place to stage a safe and festive tournament for all involved," said UEFA after its Executive Committee meeting in Budapest (HUN), on 02/05/2016.

On the eve of the 40th Uefa Ordinary Congress at the Hungexpo in Budapest, on 03/05/2016 (from approximately 9:30 to 12:30 CET), the Executive Committee re-elected the members of the Club Financial Control Body for the 2016-2020 period (see below).

"The mandates of the refereeing officers Pierluigi Collina (ITA), Marc Batta (FRA) and Hugh Dallas (SCO) were renewed for a further four years until the summer of 2020," said UEFA.
