Albania: Sigal (insurance) partners the football federation and the first division championship

The Albanian insurance group, Sigal, has become a partner of the FSHF, the Albanian Football Federation, on 28/04/2016. Neither the duration nor the financial details of the agreement were disclosed.

Sigal becomes a premium sponsor of the FSHF and the Albanian national team, who have qualified for the finals of Euro 2016 (in Group A with France, Switzerland and Romania).

The insurance group has also become a partner of the Superliga, the Albanian first division. For the first time in the history of Albanian football, players in the national championship who suffer any accidents or injuries during matches or training will benefit from Sigal insurance. Clubs will be covered for medical expenses and rehabilitation costs up to €50,000.
