Premier League: Leicester City champions with a turnover three times smaller than the Big Four clubs

Leicester City FC, Premier League champions for the 2015-16 season, posted a turnover of £104.4m (€133m) in 2014-15 which is more than three times less than any of the Big Four clubs: Arsenal FC (€435.5m according to the 2016 Deloitte Money League), Chelsea FC (€420m), Manchester City FC (€463.5m) and Manchester United FC (€519.5m). All four clubs have won a cumulative 20 English league titles between 1996 and 2015 since the last surprise victory of Blackburn Rovers FC in 1994-95: 11 titles for Manchester United, with 4 for Chelsea; then 3 for Arsenal and 2 for Manchester City.

Leicester City are guaranteed to be Premier League champions for the first time in their history thanks to the 2-2 draw between Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC on Matchday 36 of the season on Monday, 02/05/2016. The Foxes have 77 points after 36 games, 7 more than Tottenham Hotspur who are currently second and who can no longer make up the deficit.
