Leicester City: manager Claudio Ranieri becomes an ambassador for Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer

Claudio Ranieri (ITA, 64 years old), manager of Leicester City FC, the 2015-16 Premier League champions, has become an ambassador for the watchmaker Tag Heuer, announced the Swiss brand, on 03/05/2016. "In his first year as manager of Leicester City, Claudio Ranieri has managed to transform the club, which last year narrowly avoided relegation, into Premier League champions. Together with his team, he is a magnificent example of the #DontCrackUnderPressure mindset," said Tag Heuer.

This partnership was formed in the wake of a similar deal signed by Tag Heuer with the Premier League on 26/04/2016. The Swiss watchmaker is already an official partner of the Bundesliga, MLS, CSL, the Australian national team and the Copa America Centenario. Tag Heuer also counts Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphaël Varane (French territory) in the ranks of its ambassadors, which up until this point did not feature a football manager.
