Premier League: Spanish brand Joma becomes the kit supplier of Swansea City AFC from 2016-17

The Spanish group Joma has become the official kit supplier of Swansea City AFC (Premier League) from the 2016-17 season, announced the two parties on 03/05/2016. The exact duration of the contract, which will run "for several years", was not disclosed.

Joma succeeds adidas (2011-2016) as the kit supplier of the Welsh club. Swansea City will be the only Premier League team to be partnered with the Spanish brand in 2016-17. This is not the first time that Joma, founded in 1965, has provided the kit for a Premier League club: Charlton FC played in the English first division wearing equipment provided by the brand from 2003-04 to 2006-07 (the collaboration between both parties ended after the 2008-09 season).
