The US pay-TV group, DirecTV, has announced that streaming of Sunday afternoon NFL games will be available on all mobile platforms for subscribers of the OTT offer "NFL Sunday Ticket" for the 2016-17 season, on 02/05/2016. Sunday afternoon american football games that are not broadcast by any other operators will be available at no additional cost to subscribers.

"Streaming of NFL Sunday Ticket exploded last year - up 35%. This further proves customers want to watch their favourite team wherever they are,” said David Christopher, CMO at AT&T Entertainment Group on 02/05/2016. “That will grow more this year, now that every customer can enjoy live games on a second screen or on-the-go without having to pay more.”

The social network Twitter has obtained the digital rights to broadcast 10 of the 18 games scheduled as part of "Thursday Night Football", on 05/04/2016. This agreement will also allow Twitter to broadcast highlights of "Thursday Night Football" games as well as the preliminary games on its subsidiary Periscope, a live video streaming application.

Up to eight games at once…
