"Paris is developing one of the most beautiful sites of the city, the Champ de Mars, to be the home of the Eiffel Tower fan zone and give Parisians and visitors of all ages the opportunity to be part of a unique, friendly and festive football experience," announced the City of Paris, on 09/05/2016.

"The Eiffel Tower fan zone (130,000m²) will be accessible free of charge for up to 92,000 people at a time (65,000 for concerts) in its different areas, villages and houses, designed to make the most of matches and activities offered by the City and its partners and those of UEFA," added the host city of Euro 2016.

"The Eiffel Tower fan zone will be equipped with a giant screen of unprecedented size, 420 m²," said the City of Paris. This screen will be installed in line with the Eiffel Tower, with eight additional screens on the site. The central area of the fan-zone (20,000 m²) will show all 51 matches of Euro 2016.
