Euro 2016: Netherlands will help Romania manage its supporters in France

"The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) has received great support from the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) with regards to the preparation of various aspects of Romania's participation in Euro 2016," said UEFA on 09/05/2016.

For the first time since 1984, the Netherlands have failed to qualify for the finals of the European Championships, finishing fourth in qualification Group A, behind the Czech Republic, Iceland and Turkey, who all qualified.

"The KNVB has experience in the management of supporters -the famous orange fans- marketing and partnership activation. They have trained employees of the FRF in preparation for Euro 2016," added UEFA.

Romania face France in the opening match of Euro 2016 on Friday 10/06/2016 at the Stade de France (kick off at 21:00 CET).

"The Netherlands are famous for being a country that is well supported by its fans. The Dutch are famous for their numbers and their exemplary behaviour.
