United Kingdom: European Cup finals to be broadcast for free on BT Sport platforms

The British telecommunications group BT (British Telecom) announced that it will broadcast the final of the 2015-16 Europa League and of the 2015-16 Champions League for free on BT.com, BTSport.com or via the YouTube channel BT Sport (youtube.com / btsportofficial), on 12/05/2016.

The final of the Europa League pits Sevilla FC versus Liverpool FC at St. Jacques Park in Basel (SUI) on Wednesday, 18/05/2016 at 20:45 CET and the Champions League final, 10 days later, hosts Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid at the San Siro in Milan (ITA) on Saturday, 28/05/2016 at 20:45 CET.

BT Sport acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights for the United Kingdom for the Champions League and the Europa League for the 2015-2018 period for €1.07bn, on 09/11/2013. Both competitions are usually broadcast on the pay-TV platform BT Sport.
