FIFA: regulations for the "Forward" development programme (adopted by the Council on 09/05/2016)

"Developing football everywhere and for all justifies FIFA’s existence as an organisation. By adopting this new set of regulations for FIFA’s development programme at its meeting on 09/05/2016 in Mexico City, the Council reaffirms, with both strength and conviction, its commitment to the promotion of football as a sport that is characterised by greater fairness, solidarity and equality around the world," states the international federation in the preamble of the FIFA “Forward” Development Programme Regulations, on 05/09/2016.

"The regulations, approved by the FIFA Council on 09/05/2016, apply to the financial period ending on 31/12/2018. It is effective immediately," said FIFA, on 09/05/2016.

"The 'Forward' programme is a complete overhaul of FIFA’s football development programmes. FIFA Forward provides 360-degree, tailor-made support for football development in each of FIFA’s member associations and the six confederations," added FIFA, at the 66^th Congress in Mexico City (MEX), on 13/05/2016.
