Paris Saint Germain - FC Nantes (4-0, Matchday 38 of Ligue 1) set a new attendance record at the Parc des Princes for a Ligue 1 match with 47,844 spectators at the stadium on 14/05/2016.

The previous attendance record for a league match at the Parc des Princes was set with the visit of AS Saint-Etienne (4-1, Matchday 11 of 2015-16), on 25/10/2015. The six best attendances in the history of PSG in Ligue 1 were all recorded during the 2015-16 season.

In all competitions, the match against FC Nantes is the fourth best attendance in the history of Parisian club at the Parc des Princes, behind three European matches played in 1982 and 1983. The stadium record for attendance was against the Belgian club Waterschei (2-0, quarter-final of the Cup Winners' Cup winners in 1982-83), which drew 49,575 spectators on 13/03/1983. But the capacity of Parc des Princes in 2016, after the work initiated in 2013, is only 47,929 at present, which does not break the records set in the 80s (see below).
