Matchday 38, the final day of the 2015-16 Premier League season, drew an average of 39,191 spectators per match, from 15 to 17/05/2016. The average attendance of the 2015-16 Premiership was 36,400 spectators per game, with a stadium fill rate of 96%. This attendance figure is up slightly from the 2014-15 season (36,176, thus up +0.7%).

The match between Manchester United FC - AFC Bournemouth (3-1 on 17/052016) attracted the best crowd of Matchday 38 with 74,363 supporters at Old Trafford. However, this attendance mark at Old Trafford includes all tickets sold for match on Sunday 15/05/2016. As the game was postponed due to a security incident, Manchester United refunded all tickets to the match, as well as allowing ticket holders to attend the game played two days later, on Tuesday 17/05/2016, for free.

Eight of the ten games on the final Premier League matchday were played in front of more than 25,000 spectators.
