Europa League: Spain the only country of the European Top 5 where the final is not on free-TV

The 2015-16 Europa League Final, Liverpool FC - Sevilla FC at the St. Jakob-Park in Basel (SUI) on 18/05/2016 (kick-off at 20:45 CET), will not be broadcast on free-TV in Spain, due to the lack of the event's inclusion in the list of events of general interest (contained in Article 20 of the Spanish General Law on audiovisual communication, in force since June 2010), which must be accessible free of charge.

• In Spain, the Europa League Final will be broadcast exclusively by beIN Sports, notably on Movistar+, the pay-TV bouquet of the Spanish telecommunications operator Telefonica. In addition to Movistar+, beIN Sports is also available in Spain on the pay-TV bouquets of the Orange and Vodafone telecommunications groups. The channel is also accessible via beIN Sports Connect, the streaming platform of the beIN Media Group, and TotalChannel, the OTT of Mediapro, as well as on video website YouTube.
