The 2015-16 Europa League Final, Liverpool FC - FC Sevilla (1-3), at St. Jakob-Park in Basel (SUI), drew over 8.6 million cumulative viewers in Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, and France over the course of the match, on Wednesday 18/05/2016 (kick-off at 20:45 CET).

• In Germany, the free-TV channel Sport1 drew an average of 3.25 million viewers during the match, for a 12.2% audience share, placing Sport1 in eighth place in the German TV market for prime time on 18/05/2016. The game was also available live on the pay-TV channel Sky Deutschland, who have not yet announced their figures.

• In the UK, the pay-TV channel BT Sport Europe drew an average of 1.613 million viewers over the course of the match, for an audience share of 8.6%. The free DTT channel of the BT Sport group, BT Sport Showcase, which co-broadcasted the game, drew an average of 606,000, which represents 3.2% of all Britons watching TV during the match.
