The FIGC and its partners AREL (Agenzia di Ricerche e Legislazion, "Agency for Research and Legislation") and the audit and consulting firm PwC published the "ReportCalcio 2016", on 24/05/2016. Within the document are the figures for amateur football in Italy, the organisation of the governance of Italian professional football, as well as finances of Italian professional football.

Italian professional football (Serie A TIM, Serie B and the Lega Pro) generated €2,625m in cumulative turnover in 2014-15, down 3.7% from 2013-14 (€2,727m). The cumulative expenses of Italian professional football amounted to €3,078m in 2014-15, a year-on-year increase of 2.8% (€2,994m in 2013-14). Thus, the cumulative net loss of Italian professional clubs reached €536m in 2014-15, or a 69% increase compared to 2013-14 (€317m), and the largest cumulative net loss of the past five seasons (since 2010-11).

On the contrary, the the cumulative debt of Italian professional football clubs decreased slightly, from €3,686m at the end of the 2013-14 season to €3,386m at the end of 2014-15, or down 8.1%. However…
