France: 2016-17 Ligue 1 fixtures to be presented on 01/06/2016, and Ligue 2 on 06/06/2016

"Fixtures for the 2016-17 Ligue 1 and Domino's Ligue 2 seasons are currently being developed and will therefore not be presented on Friday, 27/05/2016, at the LFP's board of directors meeting," announced the French Professional Football League on 26/05/2016.

The 2016-17 fixtures of the two professional divisions will be announced on two different dates:
• Ligue 1 fixtures will be announced on Wednesday 01/06/2016, at LFP headquarters
• Ligue 2 fixtures will be announced on Monday, 06/06/2016, three days after Matchday 34 and the final day of the National championship (French third division).

Generally, Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 fixtures are unveiled simultaneously at the end of the LFP board meeting at the end of the season.

• The calendars will be published and can be from downloaded at LFP.fr, the LFP site.
• They will also be available upon publication, on News Tank Football.

The normal fixture list for general competitions for 2016-17 has been common knowledge since February 2016
