DFB: Commerzbank extends its two-year partnership with the German Federation (2016-2018)

The German company Commerzbank has extended its deal as a premium partner of the DFB for two seasons, announced the German Federation on 23/05/2016. The partnership, which was scheduled to end in 2015-16, was extended until the end of the 2017-18 fiscal year.

Commerzbank also became a main partner of the German Women's team until 2017-18, succeeding the German insurer Allianz. The German bank will also continue to sponsor the German Men's and Women's youth teams.

Commerzbank has been a partner of the DFB since 2008. "The premium partnership with the DFB is one of the most attractive sponsorships in Germany. Football is full of emotion and unifying power. This partnership provides a solid basis for strengthening our brand," said Martin Zielke, chairman of the board of Commerzbank.
