With an estimated value of around €2.905 each, Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA) and Manchester United FC (Premier League) are the two clubs with the highest value in Europe, according to the audit firm KPMG in their study "Football Clubs Valuation - The European Elite", with a ranking of the financial value of the 32 biggest clubs in Europe, on 26/05/2016.

Real Madrid and Manchester United are ahead of FC Barcelona, who have an estimated value of €2.758bn. The cumulative value of the first three in the ranking comprises about one third of the value of the entire top 32 clubs (€8.568bn out of to €26.326bn). All the first divisions of the European Top 5 countries have at least one representative in the top 10 of this study, in which feature five Premier League clubs, two from the Liga BBVA and also from the Bundesliga, and one from the Serie A TIM and one from Ligue 1.

"English clubs are the most represented in the complete rankings as they constitute 40% of the 32 clubs which have been valued," said KPMG.
