Hisense: "Thanks to Euro 2016, we expect to quadruple our TV sales in France" (Rémy Journé)

"In this context, the opportunity to partner Euro 2016 and UEFA was a no-brainer. The Euro is taking place in 10 cities in France, which is attractive for Hisense because it offers us the opportunity to market ourselves all over France. We want the French to hear the name of Hisense and recognise our logo," said Rémy Journé, director of the "brown / white" division of Hisense France, to News Tank Football on 03/06/2016.

Hisense Electronics Group, number three in the worldwide television sales market, became the 10th and final global sponsor of Euro 2016 on 14/01/2016, and thus also the first Chinese partner in the history of the competition and UEFA. "We want them to discover and to become familiar with our range of televisions, phones, and home appliances, and reverse the market in erasing any prejudices that consumers may have: yes, we are a Chinese company, but we offer premium products (that are) aesthetically pleasing, high tech and affordable," said Rémy Journé.
