South Africa: SABC group acquires TV and radio rights to 12 Euro 2016 matches

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), a South African public broadcaster, acquired the TV rights and non-exclusive radio rights for Euro 2016, in South Africa, on 26/05/2016. The group will broadcast and commentate on 12 matches including two quarter-finals, one semi-final and the final of the competition, on 10/07/2016.

“The acquisition of these rights is aimed at ensuring that SABC Sport will continue to deliver high quality football matches to our fans during the PSL (Premier Soccer League, the South African first division) off-season", said Hlaudi Motsoeneng, COO of SABC, on 26/05/2016.
