Euro 2016: Orange to allow fans to choose which nation's colours will light up the Eiffel Tower

There will be a vote on social networks for countries participating in Euro 2016 to which the winner will have the colours of their flag light up the Eiffel Tower for a couple of minutes from 22:55 on each night of the competition. This activation was proposed by the French telecommunications group Orange, in partnership with the City of Paris, announced the two parties, on 30/05/2016.

Users must post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram the hashtag followed by a message corresponding to the supported nation (e.g. #FRA for France). A giant ball with a 12 metre diameter will also be installed between the first and second floor of the Eiffel Tower, to display the most inspirational messages posted by fans on social networks, as well as photos of the most creative members of the public identified by the Orange team in the stands on each day of the competition, who they will elect "Fan of the Match".
