Spain: Tourism Malaysia becomes LaLiga's official tourism partner in Asia

Tourism Malaysia, the tourism agency of Malaysia, has become the official tourist destination partner in Asia of LaLiga, until the end of the 2016-17 season, on 25/05/2016. The contract was concluded between Tourism Malaysia, LaLiga and the Spanish broadcaster Mediapro, who plays the role of media advisor and for the international marketing of the TV rights of the Spanish Professional Football League.

Tourism Malaysia, with the slogan "Visit Malaysia", was displayed as a main sponsor of Sevilla FC (Liga BBVA) in 2014-15, and will now display the slogan "Malaysia Truly Asia" on advertising boards in stadiums of the Spanish first and second divisions. This partnership targets 20 Asian countries (including China, India and Japan) in which Liga BBVA matches are broadcast and which draw 186 million viewers.
