France: an coupled CanalSat sport and beIN Sports offer, €13 per month, for Canal+ subscribers

An exceptional subscription offer coupling the sports bouquet from CanalSat and all beIN Sports channels is being proposed by the Canal+ group to subscribers in a commercial prospectus brochure distributed during the week of 23/05/2016. Subscribers have until 30/06/2016 to take advantage of this offer, which is €13 per month for a period of one year, or €20 per month.

The CanalSat brochure shows beIN Sports France on the front page, as "the only channel to broadcast all 51 matches of Euro 2016 in their entirety", as had said Florent Houzot, the content firector of the pay-TV group beIN Sports France, to News Tank Football on 17/05/2016. Yet the exclusive distribution agreement between the two channels has not yet been ratified by the French Competition Authority, which delayed, on 19/05/2016, its findings report until the first half of June 2016.
