Premier League: West Ham install a 996m2 giant screen outside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

West Ham United FC (Premier League) have installed a giant screen 83 metres wide and 12 metres high outside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (60,000 capacity), the club's new home ground from the 2016-17 season, the English club announced on 24/05/2016.

Approved by the London Legacy Development Corporation (the London based agency in charge of the development of the stadium project after the Olympics), this screen, the largest of its kind in Europe, will allow the club to offer new exposure opportunities to its partners and also a distribution platform of informative and entertaining content for the fans.

"The Hammers", who used to play at the Boleyn Ground (also known as Upton Park, 35,000 capacity), will play their inaugural match at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 07/08/2016, with a friendly against Juventus (Serie A TIM), before playing official home matches in the 2016-17 Premier League season for which the London club has already sold more than 50,000 season tickets (priced between €945 and €1,338).
