Valencia CF: 5% off 2017-18 season tickets for those who only missed 2 home games last season

All season ticket holders at Valencia CF (Liga BBVA) who attended at least 17 games in La Liga, out of the 19 played at home in 2016-17, will benefit from a 5% discount on their 2017-18 subscription, announced the club at the launch of its 2016-17 season ticket campaign, on 01/06/2016.

This initiative is in an attempt to increase the attendance of season ticket holders at the Mestalla (55,000 capacity). In 2015-16, Valencia CF had a number of season ticket holders (39,212) higher than their average attendance recorded the Liga BBVA (37,337 spectators).

Over the 2015-16 season, the average absenteeism rate for 2015-16 season ticket holders for the Valencian club was 22%. Only 5.4% of subscribers did not attend the FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF matches, but the percentage of absentees was 28% for nine matches against the less prestigious Spanish league opponents.
