The American Italo Zanzi, the CEO of AS Roma (Serie A TIM), has resigned his position along with his place on the club's board of directors, effective on 30/06/2016, AS Roma announced on 01/06/2016. Zanzi has been the CEO of the capital city club since December 2012. No communication regarding AS Roma's next CEO has been made.

“Three and a half years ago I had the honor of becoming CEO of AS Roma. Now, with the club well-positioned, I have made the decision to pursue new endeavours," stated Italo Zanzi on the website of AS Roma.

"On behalf of AS Roma’s ownership, Mr (James) Pallotta (president and controlling owner of AS Roma) would like to thank Italo for his work in the interests of the Club, its shareholders and employees. We would also like to wish Italo the very best for the future," stated AS Roma on its website on 01/06/2016.
