"180 police officers from participating countries have arrived, yesterday (06/06/2016), therefore increasing the staffing of the public security. I want to welcome them, and thank them very warmly for the important help which they will provide," said Bernard Cazeneuve, the French Minister of the Interior, in Lognes (FRA), on 07/06/2016.

Bernard Cazeneuve inaugurated the Centre de Coopération policière internationale (CCPI, or the International Police Cooperation Centre in English), a centre "that will assume, as a focal point, the operational functionality of command and the transmission of information throughout the duration of the competition," said the French Minister.

Among the 180 foreign police officers, "fifty liaison officers - two per delegation - will be assigned to the CCPI until 10/07/2016, the date of the end of Euro 2016. These are specialists in the management of major European and international events. Their main mission is to send us any relevant information related to the movement of foreign fans around the country," said Bernard Cazeneuve on 07/06/2016.
