Bundesliga: Ford (automobiles) extends its partnership with 1. FC Köln until 2018-19

The German subsidiary of US automobile manufacturer Ford has extended its deal as an exclusive partner (second level) of 1. FC Köln (Bundesliga) for three seasons, until the end of the 2018-19 fiscal year, announced the club on 06/06/2016. The partnership between the two parties began in 1994, and will celebrate its 25^th anniversary in 2019. Until 1999, Ford was the main shirt sponsor of FC Köln, who finished 16^th in the 2015-16 Bundesliga, and retained their place in the German first division after wining a promotion/relegation play-off.

Under the partnership, Ford offers the players, coaches and members of the presidency and the leadership of the club vehicles of the brand (Ford Fiesta, B-MAX, Focus, C-MAX, Kuga, Mondeo, S-MAX, Ford Galaxy, Ford Mustang and Edge SUV models). The club from Cologne will also benefit from generous leasing deals for Ford vehicles for its training centre.

Ford receives a visual presence on the advertising boards of the RheinEnergieStadion (50,000 capacity), on the interview boards, in public relations spaces and on various club communication media…
