Premier League: Eleven Sports Network acquires 3 games per matchday via sublicense for Singapore

The British broadcaster Eleven Sports Network has acquired the TV rights, for Singapore, for three games per matchday of the Premier League, sublicensed from Singtel, on 09/06/2016. These matches will also be available on the Singtel bouquet on channel 103 of Singtel TV.

The duration of the contract was not disclosed, but the broadcaster may have acquired the rights for the 2016-2019 period, as the Singaporean operator Singtel Telecommunications had extended its exclusive broadcasting rights, in Singapore, for the Premier League for the 2016-2019 cycle, on 10/11/2015.

“The Premier League is one of the most popular sports properties in the world and we are delighted that fans will be watching it on Eleven. Signing our first Premier League rights deal is a significant milestone for the network, and a strong message that we will continue to strive to bring the very best sports action to our viewers," said Danny Menken, group managing director of the Eleven Sports network, on 09/06/2016.
