Euro 2016: more than 300 million viewers in sub-Saharan Africa via TV Media Sport

Euro 2016 will reach more than 300 million viewers in over 40 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, announced the TV Media Sport group on 10/06/2016. The French media rights agency offers, live, a programme of content in English and French, all produced in a dedicated media centre in Saint-Denis, near the Stade de France (Paris).

TV Media Sport acquired the distribution rights for Euro 2016, for 38 sub-Saharan countries, on 09/11/2015. The acquired rights (which could extend to several additional African countries such as DR Congo and the Republic of Congo) are valid for all broadcast platforms (television, Internet, mobile and tablets). They cover the live broadcast of the 12 best matches of Euro 2016 (including the opening match, quarter-finals, one semi-final and the final) and the rebroadcast of the 39 other matches in the form of extended 52 minute-long summaries, available to be broadcast from just after the final whistle.
