Euro 2016: 3.34 million viewers watch Portugal - Iceland on RTP1 in Portugal (65.9% audience share)

The Euro 2016 match Portugal - Iceland (1-1, Group F) at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard (Saint-Etienne), drew an average of 3.344 million viewers in Portugal, on the Portuguese public TV channel RTP1, on Tuesday, 14/06/2016 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

This figure represented an audience share of 65.9%, and nearly a third of the Portuguese population (just over 10 million inhabitants in 2013), and allowed RTP1 to achieve the best performance in the Portuguese TV market for prime time on 14/06/2016.

The opening match of Euro 2016, France-Romania (2-1, Group A) at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis), drew an average of 1.643 million viewers on RTP1, on Friday, 10/06/2016 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).
