beIN Media Group: Mike Kerr (UK) appointed managing director in Asia

Mike Kerr (UK) has been appointed the general manager of the beIN Media Group in Asia, announced the group on 07/06/2016. Based in the Singapore office of the company, the branch is headed by Tom Keaveny, president of the Asia and Pacific branch.

Mike Kerr joins the company from the Asian Tour professional golf tournament, of which he had been CEO since 2012. He has previously held managerial positions most notably for ESPN Star Sports, the branch of the ESPN dedicated to Asia and the Pacific.
