The Euro 2016 match Italy - Republic of Ireland (0-1, Group E), drew 14.3 million viewers on average in Italy on the Italian public channel Rai1, on Wednesday, 22/06/2016 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

This represented an audience share of 51.36%, and allowed Rai1 to achieve the best performance in the Italian television market for prime time on 22/06/2016. The game was also broadcast on the channels of Sky Italia, which has not communicated its audience.

The Round of 16 match between Italy - Spain, at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis) on Monday, 27/06/2016 (kick-off at 18:00 CET), will be co-broadcast on Rai and Sky Italia channels.
