Bundesliga: Eurosport could pay €70m per year for Lot A of the domestic TV rights (2017-2021 cycle)

Eurosport could be paying €70m per year for Lot A of domestic broadcasting rights for German professional competitions (2017-2021 cycle), claimed German media on 23/06/2016.

Lot A of the domestic TV rights for the 2017-2021 period includes:
• 40 Bundesliga games in total on Friday evenings (20: 30 CET) on Sundays (13:30 CET) and on Monday nights (20:30 CET)
• The promotion-relegation play-offs between the Bundesliga and the 2.Bundesliga
• The promotion-relegation play-offs between the 2.Bundesliga and the 3.Liga
• The German Supercup

The DFL has now already obtained €4.64bn (€1.16bn per season) in revenue for the 2017-2021 cycle for the domestic broadcasting rights to all the German professional football competitions (Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga, promotion-relegation play-offs and the German Supercup), announced the league on 09/06/2016. This is according to Sky Deutschland - who also acquired several main lots (09/06/2016) - and German media (23/06/2016):
