Media : Swiss agency Kentaro secure TV rights to Audi Cup 2013 (Germany)

The Kentaro media agency have secured the global TV rights to the Audi Cup in 2013, the company announced on the 26/06/2013.

The Audi Cup is a pre-season tournament held in July in Germany every year since 2009. The 2013 edition will take place from the 31/07/2013 to the 01/08/2013 at the Allianz Arena in Munich, featuring Bayern Munich (2012/13 Bundesliga champions and Champions League winners, GER), Manchester City (2012/13 Premier League runners-up, ENG), Sao Paulo FC (Brasileirão, BRA) and AC Milan (Serie A, ITA).

Kentaro has distributed the international TV rights to the Audi Cup since the first edition in 2009. For 2013, the contract also includes domestic rights sold to RTL Medien Gruppe, a German subsidiary of European broadcaster RTL, on the 21/06/2013.

The agency also holds the international TV rights to the Uli Hoeness Cup, a friendly match held on 23/07/2013 at the Allianz Arena between Bayern Munich, now managed by Pep Guardiola, and his former club, FC Barcelona.
