"Filling the stadiums, which means offering a quality entertainment spectacle, offering quality reception conditions for businesses, but also for the general public... Fundamentally, I think it starts there," said Jean-Claude Blanc, the deputy CEO of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1), about the objectives that must be set by French professional football, to News Tank Football on 29/06/2016, on the sidelines of the Convention of French Professional Football.

The Première Ligue union organised its first Convention of French Professional Football in Cannes (FRA), on 28 and 29/06/2016. The guests of honour were the Englishman David Dein, an ambassador of the Premier League and former leader of Arsenal FC, and the German Christian Seifert, the CEO of the German Professional Football League.

Following a discussion on the subject of the Premier League, "Why has it become the biggest football championship in the world", Jean-Claude Blanc, in answering questions from News Tank Football, looks the lessons that French football can learn from the English model.
