Tennis: Wimbledon sign a partnership with Snapchat which allows them to broadcast "live stories"

Snapchat, an application for sharing photos and videos, revealed, backstage of the Wimbledon tennis tournament (London), which started on 27/06/2016, a partnership for "live stories" (a sequence of photos or videos, maximum 10 seconds long, which are stored for 24 hours on the application) which can be viewed by about 10 million social network users in the UK.

Snapchat has signed a three-year partnership with the Grand Slam Wimbledon Tennis tournament and the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (hosting the tournament) on 31/05/2016. The application for sharing photos and videos also sells advertising space around the partnership. Stella Artois (beer brand) and Häagen-Dazs (ice cream), Wimbledon partners, should also be displayed on users' screens.

The NFL is also associated with Snapchat so as to offer its fans a "Live Story", on 17/09/2015, and has concluded a non-exclusive agreement with NBC, the television network owned by the Comcast group, to allow the application to broadcast highlights of the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games (Brazil) every day in the United States, from 05…
