Bundesliga: Schalke 04 now has an eSports team for the FIFA video game

FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga) now has a team for the FIFA football simulation video game, the German club announced on 27/06/2016. This team is led by Joshua Begehr, a former world champion of the FIFA video game, and includes two more players: Mario Viska and Cihan Yasarlan.

FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga) also has a professional eSports team Called "Elements" for the video game League of Legends, which the Gelsenkirchen club announced on 16/05/2016.

EA Sports, an American publisher specialising in video games, has presented the football simulation game FIFA 17 on 12/06/2016. This new edition goes on sale for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 29/09/2016.
