Ligue 1: OGC Nice and Macron adorn the statue of Place Masséna with the 2016-17 home kit

OGC Nice (Ligue 1) presented their 2016-17 home and away kits with their new supplier Macron, on 01/07/2016. Several initiatives have been implemented as part of the presentation:

• The day before the presentation, OGC Nice released "an appetiser" for fans, on its digital and social platforms, publishing a poster featuring "The Apollon" - the statue at Place Masséna in Nice - at the launch of the club's 2016-17 season tickets: the message "Subscribe to OGC Nice. I'll be back in five minutes", and then this message gave way to "I'll be back on Friday, July 1^st with my season ticket, but not just that!".

• The club and its Italian kit supplier also launched a mini-website specially dedicated to the 2016-17 home and away kits: the Internet user can explore, in detail, the new kits, the Macron brand, players of the club as well as purchase replica shirts.

• OGC Nice and Macron, in collaboration with the City of Nice and the marketing agency Peradotto, dressed "Apollon" in Place Masséna (a statue seven metres tall) in a giant replica 2016-17 kit made out of home textile fabric, on the…
