Manchester United: "Red Devils" to play Galatasaray (TUR) in Sweden, homeland of Z. Ibrahimovic

Manchester United FC (Premier League) will face Galatasaray AS (Spor Toto Süper Lig) in a friendly match at the Ullevi Stadium (43,000 seats), in Gothenburg (Sweden), on 30/07/2016.

The match, which is part of the "2016 Tour", the summer tour of the English club, was announced on 30/06/2016, the day before the official arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United. The club presented the Swedish player (34 years old), who was out-of-contract after playing for Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1), on 01/07/2016.

"I am sure there will be a huge impact in Sweden (from the free transfer) and the whole world as he is almost up there with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of star quality. Even more because he has a very good attitude and makes some interesting comments now and then. The media will definitely enjoy having him here," said the Swede Jesper Blomqvist, a former Manchester United player, with whom he won the Champions League in 1999.
